Frequently asked questions

Do I need a developer to integrate Spokk?

For HubSpot and QR code integrations, no developer is needed — it's a few clicks. For the REST API, basic technical knowledge is required (making HTTP requests), but it's well-documented with examples.

Can I connect multiple POS systems or locations?

Yes. You can make API calls from multiple systems. Each call can specify a location ID, so Spokk knows which location the customer visited.

What customer data does Spokk need to start the sequence?

At minimum: the customer's phone number. Optionally: their name, email, and a purchase or contact ID for tracking. The more you pass, the more personalised the messages.

Is the API key secure?

Yes. Your API key is generated once and can be regenerated at any time in the integrations settings. It should be kept private and used only in server-side code.

Does HubSpot integration require a paid HubSpot plan?

The integration works with HubSpot's free and paid plans. However, custom workflow triggers (beyond basic ones) may require a HubSpot Professional plan.
