Do customers need to download an app?

No. Customers check in by scanning a QR code with their phone camera — no app download required. The check-in happens in the browser.

How do customers know they earned a reward?

Spokk sends an automatic SMS to the customer when they hit their reward milestone. The message includes your custom reward description and how to redeem it.

Can I use loyalty without the automation sequence?

Yes — but we recommend keeping automation on. Check-ins that trigger automation result in more reviews and referrals in addition to the loyalty benefits.
